The construction environment poses many dangers to workers. As the official training provider of District Council #21, the primary focus of the Finishing Trades Institute’s Health and Safety Department, in conjunction with our contractor associations (DVIPA, AGMA, AMPD and IFCA) is to safeguard the well-being of all members. We are dedicated to promoting safety education, preparation and professional development.

Our Health and Safety manager and instructors provide the most comprehensive and professional training available today by educating our students with the knowledge and skills needed to work safely, identify and avoid workplace hazards and promote good worksite practices.
